Artist Statement / Summary
Multidisciplinary artist and ceramicist whose practice explores storytelling through abstraction, symbolism, and material transformation. Working across ceramics, poetry, photography, painting, and sculpture, Okanemi’s work investigates memory, identity, grief, healing, and spiritual reconstruction through tactile form and visual language.
